Sebastian Vettel added one more world championship to his F1 collection with such aplomb that it leaves no doubt in anyone's mind that this is only the beginning of his domination in the premier chapter of motor racing. Beneath the deceptive baby face the cold calculative persona of this young German is beginning to surface.
Having a winning machine to steer to victory is one thing but to do this with such alarming frequency speaks volumes about the man whose mind is writing huge cheques that his body and mind are able to cash.
His emotions or the lack of them actually make this lad a dangerous adversary as his victories have been a result of his acumen and talent and not at the cost of other teams' failures. His teammate
Mark Webber has continued to flatter to deceive and from a strong position has failed again. Unlucky again? Maybe. But then to coin the old phrase which goes 'The better I drive the luckier I seem to get'. But is Vettel going to bring a gloom to the F1 fans who look at the sport and expect to see some serious scrapping?
Sahara Force India (SFI) came back very strongly after a dismal mid-season and saved itself the blushes with a stellar performance from both drivers with Adrian Sutil giving the Indian spectators plenty to cheer about. He drove brilliantly for over twenty laps and at some point a podium finish suddenly looked a possibility. But although that may have been a tough ask, it however looked feasible due to the clever strategy from Mallya's think tank that had the competition scratching their collective heads. For both the SFI cars to finish a respectable 8th and 9th in front of the appreciative crowd has indicated that SFI is back on rails.
